Finding a rhythm in your homeschool can often times feel like trying to hit a moving target. Each season brings with it new opportunities and commitments. It can sometimes feel like you are needing to readjust as soon as it feels like you have finally hit a good rhythm as a family.
Over the years we have found that having a balance of structure and flexibility has helped us find a more consistent rhythm.
When planning out our schedule we use the chart below to help us to see that we stay in balance. The learning experiences planned for each day of the week typically follow this rhythm. Our ultimate goal is to help spark their curiosity and love of learning and to model for them the pattern and pace of a disciplemaking life.
