Curious about joining us for the 2025-2026 school year?
We have so much fun learning planned!
We will be posting more details in the near future, but wanted to give families a sneak peek. Our focus for each of our cohorts is building friendships as we learn together. Our cohorts are Montessori style, students are encouraged to learn and discover together. We are planning to bring in a number of guests this year to help students learn from their talents. We make sure to get outside as often as we can to make sure we take advantage of learning through nature. We also make sure that we have plenty of opportunities to read aloud together. Our cohorts are different from most co-ops because the students lead most of our learning experiences. We believe students learn best by sharing with others what they learn.
Here is a little of what we have planned!
Make Believe Monday cohort:
Music
Dance
Drama (How Miss Finch Stole Christmas)
Artist’s Academy (with Tom Foty)
ASL
Chef Academy (Focus on cooking and nutrition)
Arrow Kids Entrepreneurs cohort
Our Music Mondays will give students a chance to learn music concepts through the Prodigies Bell system as well as use music to learn educational concepts about Math, language arts, history and more.
Our Arrow Kids Entrepreneurs cohort will give students a chance to meet some small business owners. They will learn all about starting their own business, everything from naming your company to taxes.
Tricky Tuesday cohort:
Tech Tuesday (typing and word processing skills)
Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
ASL
Arrow Kids Chronicle (Monthly online newsletter)
Game School
Creative Writing
American Girls History
Students will put together a monthly newsletter to share things they are learning. By the end of the school year they will have created their own board or card game. In creative writing students will be equipped with tools to write their own book.
Our Wonder Wednesday we will visit parks and nature centers around the twin cities while studying about countries around the world. This year we will be learning about Australia, Canada, Israel, Peru, Georgia, Columbia, China, England, Hungary, Czech Republic, Jamaica, Italy, Russia and Greece.
Thursdays we will be offering our Kinder-GARDEN cohort with 2 in person classes (one at the Arboretum and the other at the Stillwater Library) and an online option.
