Move Monday 5K





Join us this fall as we train for a 5k! We will be building our bodies and building our friendships as we work out together.

Each Monday we will meet at 2:00 and train together for our "Friend-Chip 5k."



We will be using a couch to 5k app to build our endurance and prepare our bodies to be able to complete the 5k on Monday November 14th.


We even have prizes including cookies and medals for the winners!




Training will take place Monday September 19, October 3, 10, 24, 31, November 7 from 2-3:00pm. The 5k will be Monday November 14th @ 2:00pm. You may join us for the 5k even if you did not participate with our training, but since this is a "Friend-chip 5k" we would love to have you join us for the training too!




Move Monday FAQ's

I hate running! Do I have to run too?

Running is not a requirement to join us for our Move Monday 5k, however we want to encourage everyone both students and moms to challenge themselves to train and improve their health. We will start at beginning level (couch) and help everyone increase their strength and endurance. For some this may only be walking, but the goal is for everyone to see improvement throughout the fall.


I have an infant or toddler, can we still participate?

Yes! All ages are welcome. Some toddlers will love the challenge of running, and it will make for great sleep on Monday nights! If you think they would do better just riding in a stroller that is perfectly ok. We will work with you for whatever is best for your little ones.


What happens if it rains?

If it is raining on Mondays during our training time, we will take our training to the gym. We will do some running, but mostly other strength building activities. If it is raining on November 14th, the day of the 5k, we will reschedule the 5k for Monday November 21st.
