Snipe Hunting

Historically the snipe hunt has been used as a way to play a practical joke on one or more unsuspecting people who become the center of the joke as they try to find a non-existent snipe. This kind of joke can often divide a group and make individuals feel left out and unwanted.

Our snipe hunt serves the opposite purpose.  We will be working as teams to hunt for snipes around the arboretum. The purpose of this activity is to build community and work together as a team to both hide and find the snipes. We will have fun building friendships while exploring and searching for the hidden snipes.

This learning activity is open to children and adults of all ages. Admission to the arboretum is included with your registration.

All the details will be emailed to you once you register.  This is not a drop off activity, you will need to participate with your students.  Please be sure to register everyone who will be attending.
