Driver's Ed

Students 14.5 years old and older can join us for driver's ed!

We will be going through the Drive Safe Ride Safe online driver's ed program.  Students can work ahead and complete units on their own.  We will be spending time together doing the enrichment, watching some of the videos and talking through  questions.  Students will be given some 'homework' based on each unit.

We would love to have you join us!  

We will have snacks, games, and activities (a 'gameschool' track) for younger sibblings who will be attending with you.  Please be sure to register everyone who will be attending with you so we can have appropriate activities ready.

There is no charge to join us.  If you would like to make a donation it will help cover cost of snack and activities.

We will meet on March 5, 12, 19 and April 9, 16 and 23 from 12:30-2:30.

FAQ's:

Is this any different than the online Drive Safe Ride Safe program?

We are using the homeschool  version of the program.  Each student will need their own account and complete all the online units to complete the course.  By joining us in person, your student will have a peer group to learn with.  They will be creating activities together to help them apply their learning.  Depending on how much discusion happens each week, there may be some work for the students to complete on their own inbetween our sessions.

Is this a drop off program?

No, an adult will need to stay with your student. If you have younger students who will be attending with you, you may stay with them in the gameschool area instead of joining your drivers ed student.

What if I have younger students?

Register them to join us for gameschool!  We will have games and activities for younger students who will be attending with you.

We will have snacks, so please be sure to let us know if your students have an allergies.
