FIrst and most important: 

Cadre Marriage & Ministry Retreat Weekend: We're guiding a marriage refreshment weekend for both vocational and volunteer ministry couples (marriages new or with mileage) on September 12-13, 2008. Cost will be an estimated $150 for overnight housing/meals, $25 for materials, and your option of a making a $75 donation to Cadre Ministries. 

It's a weekend that has the challenges of getting time together to communicate & grow as a couple who is also committed to ministry. You'll laugh... you'll poke each other... you'll talk... We are challenging participants to take the whole day off on Friday Sept. 12 and to spend it together...  arrive early and check into the hotel (in Sycamore right near our home)... go out to dinner as a couple before we have our first connection time on Friday Night... we'll learn, laugh, pray and play together as couples... Saturday AM... you have until 11am to sleep in and spend time just as a couple... pray, take a walk, swim, hot-tub... don't even get out of bed if you don't want to... At 11am we'll gather at Garda's for a mini-connection time then we'll grill out together... plus we'll have a couples wii bowling tournament where couple bowl as a team... then we'll have our third connection time from 1:30-5:00. At 5:30 we'll eat a terrific meal together and you'll be on your way home or? stay a second night and simply get the entire weekend together for just you and your spouse...
